EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK
6 hours duration with the advantage of adding other topics that might be useful to your own work force needs.
(This is the minimum requirement*)

First Aid at Work
(3 days) much more comprehensive and a requirement for many workplaces.

FAW
(refresher course 1 and 2 Days) A yearly refresher is strongly recommended by the HSE.

Many responsible employers refresh staff earlier than this as trends and techniques regularly change within health care.

Early Years Child Care Courses
Early Years Child Care Courses aimed at child care workers or anyone who has an interest in children and baby first aid. We can offer a 1/2 day Paediatric first aid course, covering subjects such as accidents in the home and resuscitation. In addition we offer a 12 hour paediatric first aid course aimed at childminders and nursery staff. This is the reccomended (FACC) course by Early Years and Sure Start. All courses are certificated.

Bespoke First Aid Courses
Bespoke First Aid Courses for your company that we can tailor to your needs and will always include basic resuscitation training following the current Resuscitation Council Guidelines.

Basic Life Support
Basic Life Support courses Adult, Child or Baby. All our courses give the candidate practice on a manikin and you will be guided through the process of basic life support. The course is realistic and has easy to follow instructions where you will be guided through the learning process along with DVD visual support. This training is essential for anyone and it provides a candidate with the skills to save someone's life. All training follows current resuscitation guidelines.

AED (automated external defibrillator) training.
Many larger and some small companies now have AED’s within their workplace.

This machine is designed to deliver a controlled electric shock to the heart following a heart attack and sudden death. Often early defibrillation can save a life where a delay in arrival of professional help happens.This machine is similar or the same as the ambulance service uses and requires minimum training and skills for usage. All AED training comes with Basic Life Support Training too.

These machines are widely used in public places such as shopping centres, airports and railway stations. (PAD. Public access defibrillation)
